Carnegie’s Hong Kong is the original bar, opened in 1994. It featured on the BBC during the handover celebrations of Hong Kong being returned to Chinese rule in 1997.
Carnegie’s HK continues to pull in the crowds to its daily events. Ladies Night continues to be one of the most popular nights with free champagne for the women. It has also become a mecca for the rugby community, especially during the Rugby Sevens season in March. It has recently become a popular live music venue, hosting Jam Nights, live bands and most recently Open Jazz sessions.
And of course, don’t forget Carnegie’s is the original “bar-dancing” venue. We were around long before Coyote Ugly!!! Most nights you will find customers strutting their stuff atop the bar!
